Sarah Gallenberger Custom Guitar Art

Wow – I just came across this lady on the web who does wonderfully artistic and bright custom paint finishes and patterns on all kinds of guitars.

According to her bio she started having a go on a few old guitar bodies lying around her uncle’s (or a relative) store and it seemed to work out ok looking at the finished work. Check out all her designs on her website at sarahgallenberger.com

I’m sure she’ll make them to order but either way it makes good viewing for ideas and inspiration as to what can be put on a guitar with some paint, pens and brushes. I believe she has been featured at NAMM in 2017 and no doubt her designs will be popping up all over the guitar world. Some of them are very intricate but all are gorgeous and vibrant – they must take her a heck of a long time to do – or not – you’d have to ask her but the designs are very complex. See more here >>

I also note she has done some custom foot pedals as well as drums and other items – basically anything that can be painted on. As far as I can see they are lacquered after she has done her stuff to give a hardened finish on the road. Read the full NAMM review here >>
