Do you know someone who loves a particular music artist (or anyone for that matter from cinema the arts) and want to give them something unusual – that doesn’t break the bank? Well this is it! I buy these precision made high-quality but unfinished guitars very cheaply.

They are computer controlled machine cut super-accurately to highly accurate templates but not finished to the high standards (the neck, fretting and nut where the strings pass to the tuning heads) and prices you pay for more expensive models.

Plus they have some slightly cheaper hardware instead of top of the line parts. The latter is no problem as these can be upgraded ANYTIME should the owner wish to take the guitar up a notch – even then I haven’t bothered with mine as they work perfectly and can be used professionally if finished and setup correctly.

What is most important to ANY guitar is a) the finish of the neck and the setup of the strings, the tremolo (if there is one – these can go out of tune) the nut (the little bone/plastic piece the strings run over at the tuning end of the neck) and most important of all – the intonation.

This last setup is what makes a guitar playable or not playable – and this part is not done properly if at all on these guitars – so I do all of the finishing and setup to keep the price down. What you have by the end of it is a £200 guitar that plays and feels and sounds like a £500 guitar! To prove it – this is one I did for myself I use for gigs! It’s beautiful!
