What Guitar Fret Wire Should I Use?
There are many types of fret-wire – much more so as time has gone on – different heights and thicknesses to serve different purposes. So what fret wire do you need for what guitar and for what styles? Now down to that question: is nickel steel fret wire sound different to stainless steel fret-wire – spoiler alert IMHO absolutely nothing the human ear can hear! Which makes me think why-ever would anyone want to have anything other than stainless steel frets as they last literally forever! I for one am sick to death of having and paying for my guitar to be re-fretted!
